Mars Hill Baptist Church VBS 2026

Mars Hill Baptist Church

EVENING SCHEDULE Monday through Thursday, children and teens (ages 2–18) will begin their evening at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary for a time of worship. They will be grouped by age and will stay with their groups until dismissal at 8:30 PM. After the worship rally at 6:50 PM, each group will rotate through the evening’s stations—games, crafts, snacks, missions, and Bible Study. On Friday, we will follow an abbreviated schedule as we wrap up the week with a homemade ice cream social to celebrate the conclusion of Vacation Bible School. VBS Lessons Monday - God is Creator Tuesday - God is All‑Knowing Wednesday - God is Our Refuge Thursday - God is Love Friday - God is Forever SPECIAL INVITATION TO ALL PARENTS AND ADULTS | Any parents or adults who would like to remain at the church are invited to join us for our Adult Vacation Bible School, where a special class will be offered each night. We warmly invite all parents and adults in our community to join us for a dedicated Adult VBS experience at Mars Hill. While your children enjoy their evening activities, we offer a space for you to deepen your faith, hear from inspiring guest speakers, and enjoy meaningful fellowship. ADULT SCHEDULE (After the Worship Rally) 7:00 PM | Guest Speaker Session: Following the rally, we will gather in the Sanctuary for our nightly lesson and presentation. 8:00 PM | Fellowship Time for Adults: A time to connect with fellow attendees while the children conclude their programs, allowing everyone to finish the night together. FEATURED GUEST SPEAKERS FOR ADULT CLASS Monday, June 22 | Sam & Melody Harrell Sam and Melody will share the mission of Africa Exchange, an organization that partners with marginalized Kenyan communities. They focus on establishing integrated "ecosystems" of life-sustaining services to help children and families thrive in even the most remote settings. Tuesday, June 23 | Grant Berry Join us as Grant Berry discusses Seen, Known, Heard, a vital ministry dedicated to sharing the love of God and providing support to those experiencing homelessness within the Raleigh-Durham area. Wednesday, June 24 | Garry Gates We are excited to have Garry come and speak on Wednesday night. He is the Associational Mission Strategist for the Mount Zion Baptist Association, where he works alongside the churches of our association in Alamance and Orange counties to help equip them to fulfil their roles in carrying out the Great Commission. Thursday, June 25 | Rick Hughes We are honored to host Rick Hughes, a Missional Church Pastor, Master Chaplain, and Crisis Response Specialist for the City of King Police. Rick has been a fundamental mentor to Mars Hill during our revitalization process and brings a wealth of insight into church growth, service, and community outreach. Friday, June 26 | COMMUNITY ICE CREAM SOCIAL To celebrate the conclusion of our week, we will not hold a formal adult class on Friday. Instead, we invite the entire church family to a Homemade Ice Cream Social. The children will join the adults at 7:30 pm in the carport behind the church. We look forward to this sweet time of fellowship to wrap up a wonderful Vacation Bible School!
