Surrounded by trees, friends and the river, Camp Firelight is the perfect location for every Camper to learn to face their fears while trusting in God.
We invite your children and their friends ages 6-12 to join us for a fun filled week exploring God’s Word through crafts, games, Bible stories, swimming, snacks and songs. We have limited space for class sizes, so please get your permission slip and money ($5) returned ASAP.
Wear play clothes over a swimsuit. Students will NOT be allowed to change in and out of their swimsuits. Pack a bag with a towel, life jacket, offering, & lunch in a labeled ziploc bag (they will be placed in a cooler every day). Label your belongings, all towels & life jackets look alike. We are not responsible for lost items.
The oldest class will have lunch provided for them, will learn how to canoe and will participate in a canoe trip down the river on Friday. Campers must be present M-Th to canoe down on Friday.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED: Safety is a major concern and adequate supervision is essential. Attendance numbers will be based on the number of adult volunteers. Priority will be given to members of Bethel Park, Christ Episcopal, Denmark Country Club and River Bible School volunteers and their families. All volunteers 18 and older will need a background check.
Swimming is NOT allowed without a permission slip, this includes teen helpers and those attending Youth Bible School at night. For safety reasons, everyone must be picked up at 1PM from the Pavillion, this includes river kids. After River Bible School, guests at the river must be accompanied by a member of the Denmark Country Club.
Junior Bible School is available for ages 3-5 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer at River Bible School. Children ages 4-5 must be potty trained, and be associated with a volunteer on site for all 5 days (this volunteer may be assigned to a role other than preschool). 3 year olds must have an adult attend Junior Bible School and remain with them at all times.
REGISTRATION is online only and should be filled out by a parent since a swimming permission slip is required.
We kindly ask that you leave your pets home during River Bible School for the safety of the kids and pets.

YOUTH BIBLE SCHOOL: Rising 7th graders to graduated Seniors, please join us Monday-Thursday at the Pavilion 6:30-8:30PM for supper, a lesson and swimming. Permission slips are required. Wear your bathing suit and bring a towel. Donations to cover the cost of supper are accepted. Youth are encouraged to volunteer during daytime River Bible School. Youth must be registered as a camper to attend.
RIVER BIBLE SCHOOL KICK OFF: Please join us to kick off River Bible School on June 16th with a Sunday Church Service and Covered Dish Lunch at the Pavillion at 11AM, lunch following. Please bring a dish that would feed your family to share.
FRIDAY NIGHT ROUNDUP & COVERED DISH: Come celebrate a successful week of River Bible School and see what the kids were so excited about. Bring a covered dish that would feed your family and a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Dinner begins at 6:30PM followed by a program led by the kids.
